About the Role:

We are looking for an Office Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operation of our Birmingham office. This is a hands-on, on-site role responsible for keeping the office safe, organized, well-maintained, and running smoothly. The right candidate is highly organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of the details that keep a busy pediatric practice functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Office & Facilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day condition, organization, and operation of the Birmingham office.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, building repairs & maintenance, and grounds services.
  • Monitor office equipment, supplies, furniture, and general facility needs.
  • Conduct regular office walkthroughs and address or escalate issues as needed.

Safety & Compliance

  • Coordinate required building, fire, safety, and other facility inspections.
  • Serve as a point of contact with the local fire department for testing, repairs, and inspections.
  • Maintain records related to inspections, repairs, permits, and other compliance requirements.
  • Help ensure the office remains safe, accessible, and compliant with Bloom policies.

Patient & Office Operations

  • Develop a working knowledge of Bloom’s scheduling, insurance, programs, and software.
  • Provide operational support to the Birmingham team when needed.
  • Help troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams.
  • Communicate important office updates, changes, closures, maintenance activities, and operational information to staff in a timely and clear manner.

Events & Clinics

  • Coordinate the on-site logistics for vaccine clinics, community events, and other special programs in collaboration with our Events Team.
  • Manage setup, supplies, signage, vendor coordination, patient flow, and breakdown.
  • Ensure the office is prepared and organized before and after events.

Supplies & Organization

  • Monitor and order office and operational supplies.
  • Maintain organized storage and common areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the functionality and overall experience of the office.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in office operations, healthcare administration, facilities coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 required.
  • Healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing vendors and coordinating multiple priorities.
  • Proactive problem-solver who notices what needs to be done and takes action.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems.
  • Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday in our Birmingham office.
  • Must be willing to receive an annual flu vaccine.

Job Type: Bloom Pediatrics is seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time RNs

Location: Our office locations include Detroit, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Southfield, MI (with occasional offsite travel for community work)

We are seeking a community oriented Pediatric RN to join our team and help support our families and strengthen community engagement.

Position Summary: The Pediatric RN will serve as a clinical leader focused on supporting children and families in Detroit and surrounding communities. This role combines direct clinical expertise with community engagement, program coordination, and vaccine program support. The ideal candidate has a background in pediatrics, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve on the practice’s clinical RN team, providing guidance and support to staff and families

· Provide phone triage and counseling to families

· Facilitate Bloom’s Care Management program for eligible families

· Coordinate patient care with providers and medical assistants

· Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions

· Perform phlebotomy and related lab services as needed

· Manage the use of practice-owned medical equipment for patient treatment including equipment storage, maintenance, and occasional transportation

· Ensure compliance with vaccine standards by coordinating with health departments, vaccine manufacturers, and pharmaceutical representatives

· Support and supervise medical assistants at offsite vaccine clinics

· Connect families with community resources to address health, wellness, and social needs

· Represent the practice in community events, partnerships, and initiatives

· Partner with the Clinical Manager and leadership team to align community health efforts with practice goals

Qualifications:

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan (required).

· Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience; pediatric experience required.

· Must be willing to work one weekend day per month.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to draft presentations, emails, and educational materials.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills.

· Experience with vaccines, immunization standards, and public health programs (preferred).

· Knowledge of community resources for children and families in Detroit (preferred).

· Comfortable representing the practice at meetings, events, and clinics both onsite and offsite.

· Passion for community health and family-centered pediatric care.
