Job Title: Pediatric Nurse (RN): Office

Job Type: Bloom Pediatrics is seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time RNs

Location: Our office locations include Detroit, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Southfield, MI (with occasional offsite travel for community work)

About Us: We are a growing pediatric practice with four locations (Detroit, Birmingham, Bloomfield, and Southfield), committed to providing exceptional family-centered care. We are seeking a community oriented Pediatric RN to join our team and help support our families and strengthen community engagement.

Position Summary: The Pediatric RN will serve as a clinical leader focused on supporting children and families in Detroit and surrounding communities. This role combines direct clinical expertise with community engagement, program coordination, and vaccine program support. The ideal candidate has a background in pediatrics, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve on the practice’s clinical RN team, providing guidance and support to staff and families

· Provide phone triage and counseling to families

· Facilitate Bloom’s Care Management program for eligible families

· Coordinate patient care with providers and medical assistants

· Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions

· Perform phlebotomy and related lab services as needed

· Manage the use of practice-owned medical equipment for patient treatment including equipment storage, maintenance, and occasional transportation

· Ensure compliance with vaccine standards by coordinating with health departments, vaccine manufacturers, and pharmaceutical representatives

· Support and supervise medical assistants at offsite vaccine clinics

· Connect families with community resources to address health, wellness, and social needs

· Represent the practice in community events, partnerships, and initiatives

· Partner with the Clinical Manager and leadership team to align community health efforts with practice goals

Qualifications:

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan (required).

· Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience; pediatric experience required.

· Must be willing to work one weekend day per month.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to draft presentations, emails, and educational materials.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills.

· Experience with vaccines, immunization standards, and public health programs (preferred).

· Knowledge of community resources for children and families in Detroit (preferred).

· Comfortable representing the practice at meetings, events, and clinics both onsite and offsite.

· Passion for community health and family-centered pediatric care.

Fully Licensed Mental Health Clinician 

Full-time, On-site with Bloom Pediatrics in Birmingham, MI

Company Description 

Bloom Pediatrics is a patient and community-focused practice located in Birmingham, Bloomfield, Southfield, and Detroit. The practice has a team of over 30 pediatric clinicians and over 150 total employees. Bloom Pediatrics provides compassionate care 7 days a week for patients and their families and actively participates in community engagement. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking child/adolescent mental health clinicians to join our team based in the Birmingham office. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide evidence-based therapy services to children and their families onsite as part of our practice.

Role Description 

Primary responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive assessments and accurately diagnosing children with mental health conditions, as well as providing therapy for pediatric mental health patients ages 3-18.

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Experience delivering evidence-based therapy modalities in pediatric settings, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure/response prevention (ERP), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), parent management training (PMT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), etc.
• Must hold (or be eligible for) licensure in the state of Michigan (LP, LLP, TLLP, LLMSW, LMSW)
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical therapy and assessment experience
• Strong ability to conduct assessments and design treatment plans
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to connect with children, teens, and families
• Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a multidisciplinary team
• Comfort engaging in consultative roles with schools and families

Coordination of care with our team of physicians and nurse practitioners is central to this model of collaborative care, with the mental health clinician providing therapy services to pediatric patients while working closely with the patient’s primary care doctor. Daily tasks include conducting therapy sessions, assessments, treatment planning, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals within and external to our practice.
