Mini donuts + giving back = a pretty sweet weekend! 🐝🍩

On Sept. 26–27 and Oct. 24–25, we’re inviting families to help us “Fill the Hive” at our Birmingham office, with a visit from the Detroit Mini Donut Truck to make it extra sweet.

The Hive is a special space at our Detroit office filled with food and essentials for Bloom families who need a little extra support. Your generosity can help make sure another family has access to the essentials they need.

We’re asking families to start collecting nonperishable food items from our requested donation list below and bring a bag with you to one of our Fill the Hive weekends.

Kids can help load their family’s donations into our box truck, giving them a hands-on way to see how their contribution can help another family. It’s a fun way to teach kids about giving back and showing kindness to others in their community.

Bring a donation and receive a ticket for free mini donuts from the Detroit Mini Donut Truck!

If your child is due for a flu or COVID vaccine, you can take care of that, too. Bring your donation with you and enjoy your mini donuts after the appointment.

  • Saturday, Sept. 26 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Requested Donation Items:

  • Black beans (canned)
  • Green beans (canned)
  • Corn (canned)
  • Diced tomatoes (canned)
  • Chicken broth (canned)
  • Condensed cream of chicken soup (canned)
  • Tuna (canned)
  • Peanut butter
  • 2 lb bag of rice
  • 18 oz canister of oats
  • 48 oz jar of applesauce

Fall Vaccine Clinics Are Back at Bloom Pediatrics

Fall is just around the corner, which means our weekend vaccine clinics are back at Bloom Pediatrics! From September through November, we’re making it easier for families to get their family’s flu and COVID vaccines while adding a little extra fun to the experience.

Staying up to date on recommended vaccines is an important part of keeping children healthy and helping protect families, schools and our community during respiratory illness season.

Weekend vaccine clinics will be available at all four Bloom Pediatrics offices, with something special planned for kids at each location.

Birmingham

Our Birmingham office will feature a different family-friendly activity throughout the fall.

Sept. 5–6: Ray’s Ice Cream
Cool down after your child’s vaccine with a treat from Ray’s.

Sept. 12–13: Mad Science Experiments
Enjoy bubbling potion experiments and plenty of fun with a mad scientist.

Sept. 19–20: Tie-Dye T-Shirts
Add some color to vaccine day with a tie-dye activity from Brightly Twisted.

Sept. 26–27: Detroit Mini Donut Food Truck! 🍩

Oct. 3–4: Pumpkin Picking
Get into the fall spirit and take home a pumpkin! Pumpkins will be available at our Birmingham, Bloomfield and Southfield offices.

Oct. 10–11: Make a Stuffy
Create a special stuffed friend to take home with Friendship Factory.

Oct. 17–18: Mini Golf
Take a swing at mini golf in our Birmingham parking lot.

Oct. 24–25: Detroit Mini Donut Food Truck! 🍩

Oct. 31: Halloween Trunk-or-Treat
Celebrate Halloween with a fun trunk-or-treat experience at our Birmingham office.

Nov. 1, 7–8: Glitter Tattoos
Add some sparkle to vaccine day with glitter tattoos from Cherri Paints.

Nov. 14–15, 21: Strolling Magic Show
Enjoy a strolling magic show featuring Jasen Magic.

Bloomfield + Southfield offices: Enjoy a delicious cake pop on your way home baked by one of our very own Bloom Pediatrics nurses.

Detroit office: Dive into our Under the Sea theme and let your child choose a special item from our treasure chest after their vaccine visit.
