Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full employee experience at Bloom Pediatrics—from recruitment and onboarding to benefits management, staff support, and workplace culture. This person will play a key role in maintaining a fun, collaborative, and mission-driven environment where employees feel empowered to do their best work caring for children and families.

The HR Manager serves as a trusted resource for leadership and staff, helping ensure that Bloom Pediatrics remains a workplace where people are proud to work, and patients love to visit.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for clinical and administrative positions
  • Manage job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination
  • Prepare and present competitive job offers
  • Lead onboarding processes that welcome new team members into the Bloom culture

Benefits & Compensation

  • Serve as a resource for staff with benefits questions or enrollment support

Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment regulations
  • Support policy development and implementation

Other Duties

  • Oversee building maintenance and cleaning staff
  • Interface with physician owners and management team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of HR experience (healthcare or multi-site organizations preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating a supportive, positive workplace culture
  • Creative – Canva knowledge a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Medical Assistant

Bloom Pediatrics is seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric practice. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast paced, multi-office environment. Bloom Pediatrics operates out of four locations in Metro Detroit: Birmingham, Bloomfield, Southfield, and Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with children of all ages and their families, thrives in a busy clinical setting, and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and intake information prior to provider visits
  • Prepare patients and exam rooms for physician evaluation
  • Administer pediatric immunizations and vaccines according to established protocols
  • Accurately document all clinical information in the electronic medical record
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and parents, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience
  • Maintain clinic flow in a high-volume environment across multiple locations
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
  • Support clinic operations, including room turnover and supply management

Qualifications

Licensed Mental Health Clinician

Fully Licensed Mental Health Clinician 

Full-time, On-site with Bloom Pediatrics in Bloomfield, MI 

 Company Description 

Bloom Pediatrics is a patient and community-focused practice located in Birmingham, Bloomfield, Southfield, and Detroit. The practice has a team of over 20 doctors and providers and over 100 total employees. Bloom Pediatrics provides compassionate care 7 days a week for patients and their families and actively participates in community engagement. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking fully licensed mental health clinicians to join our team based in the Bloomfield office. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital counseling and therapy services to children and their families onsite as part of our practice. 

 Role Description 

Primary responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive assessments and accurately diagnosing children with mental health conditions while providing therapy for pediatric mental health patients ages 5-18. Experience working with Neurodivergent kids on the ADHD and Autism spectrums as well as experience providing a range of therapy modalities including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), art therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, family therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, trauma-focused therapy and other child-centered therapies are a must. 

Coordination of care with our team of physicians and nurse practitioners is central to this model of collaborative care with the Mental Health Clinician providing social work services as well as case management and mental health therapy services to pediatric patients while working closely with the patient’s primary care doctor. Daily tasks include conducting therapy sessions, assessments, treatment planning, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals within and external to our practice. Experience in working with Children’s Protective Services (CPS) is desired. 

 Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Social Work, Case Management, and Family Therapy skills 
  • Experience in Psychology and Behavioral Health within pediatrics  
  • Strong ability to conduct assessments and design treatment plans 
  • Has received the annual flu vaccine, has been vaccinated for Covid-19 
  • Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a multidisciplinary team 
  • Fully licensed Mental Health Clinician in the state of Michigan in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral Health required; (LLP limited license clinicians are not being considered at this time) 
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required 
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical therapy and assessment experience 
  • Specialization in ADHD, family therapy and early childhood disorders including anxiety or adjustment disorders 
  • Willingness to meet with clients during afternoons, weekends, and evenings  

Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking both part- and full-time front desk receptionists to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is professional, caring, energetic and positive with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in out-of-office community based events.

The main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the importance of customer service.
  • Greeting patients, families, scheduling, check-in for appointments via phone and face-to-face.
  • Accurate documentation of demographic and insurance information.
  • Verification of insurance information via third party websites.
  • Collecting and posting payments.
  • Obtaining appropriate forms and scan into medical records.
  • Reviewing practice policies and notice of privacy practices with patients/guardians.
  • May act as a preceptor to a newer team member.
  • Maintain or exceeds productivity standards, collection targets and quality standards.
  • Completion and follow up on visit tasks.

Full-time (FT) would be scheduled for a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Part-time (PT) would be scheduled less than 35 hours per week, based on availability and practice needs.

With minimal weekend commitments for both FT and PT positions.
