Robyn is a licensed clinical social worker with a strong foundation in psychodynamic therapy and over 20 years of experience working with children and families. She is board certified in social work and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), with additional expertise as an ADHD diagnostic clinician. She is currently completing her certification as an ADHD-CCSP (Clinical Services Provider) under the guidance and study of leading expert Russell Barkley, PhD, et al.

She earned her LLMSW from Wayne State University, where she studied psychodynamic social work with Jerome Brandell, PhD. Her earlier academic work includes both a BA and MEd in Early Childhood Special Education and Infant Developmental Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her time there, she conducted a literature review on infants and social referencing with renowned researcher Joseph Campos, PhD, and worked as an intern in the Infant Research Lab.

Originally from Arizona, Robyn grew up across Texas, California, and Illinois before making Detroit home in the early 2000s. She has raised two daughters in the city and remains deeply committed to supporting children and families in the community with warmth, empathy and evidence-based care.
