Dr. Rasha Khanafer was born and raised in Southeast Michigan, and her heart has always remained close to home. She is a proud graduate of Wayne State University and earned her medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency through the Authority Health program at Children’s Hospital of Michigan- where her journey in pediatrics first began as a  volunteer in college.

Dr. Khanafer is deeply passionate about helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong health and success, believing in the crucial role that early childhood plays in shaping the rest of a person’s life.

She lives in Dearborn with her husband, Rami. Together, they enjoy traveling, cooking new dishes, and taking long walks in all of Michigan’s beautiful seasons. Dr. Khanafer also loves a good cup of coffee or tea—and is always open to new recommendations!

Dr. Khanafer is excited to be part of your child’s care and looks forward to working together to support their health, growth, and happiness. She can’t wait to get to know your family!
