Meghna Shukla PhD, RN, CPNP-AC

Meghna Shukla is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She completed her nurse practitioner training at Wayne State University, and has worked for over a decade in acute care and emergency medicine in the metro Detroit area. She went on to complete her PhD from Wayne State University, where she is an assistant professor teaching in both the baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs.
Her clinical interests are broad and span across providing preventive care to patients, with special focus on chronic childhood disease, adolescent medicine, mental health, and LGBTQ+ health. She is passionate about advocating for improved access to healthcare for all, as well as researching and teaching about health disparities and social determinants of health in diverse populations. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive, inclusive and evidence-based care to patients and families to help develop trusting relationships for optimal health outcomes.
In her free time, she loves spending time traveling, reading, and also with her family and friends.
