We love taking care of kids in Metro Detroit and we’re making ourselves more available. We are opening a second location in Southfield, where we will provide the same great care in a new part of town. You’ll see some of the same familiar faces and some new ones.

Whether you are expecting a newborn, have recently moved to our area, or are looking for a new medical home for your children, we thank you for trusting us with your child’s health. We welcome new patients starting at birth to age 17 years.

Bloom Pediatrics has been serving our community for over 40 years. All of our physicians are board certified and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We accept most insurance plans.
Because each insurance policy is different, it is important to contact your insurance company if you have any questions regarding your benefits, and to know what your payment obligations will be at the time of service.
Take the “pain” out of pain reliever dosing.
Be confident that you are treating your child’s pain or fever with the correct dose of medication. We can guide you here on how much Motrin or Tylenol to give, based on your child’s weight. (Benadryl too!)

Last night, we hosted our first of many CPR trainings🫀 Our students are ready to become heroes in a heartbeat after learning adult, infant, and child CPR and AED use. We also covered how to respond to severe airway blockages so they`re ready to step up in an emergency.
Bloom U is hosting several more Friends & Family CPR classes this spring for adults and kids 12 and over.

Building period confidence, and having fun! 🩸
🌸 This weekend, Bloom U welcomed Dr. Carrie Leff from @turningteen for a workshop on all things puberty in the Girls Body Care workshop.
🤸♀️ Girls and their moms learned about skin care, body wellness, hormones, and what physical and mental changes to expect as they become young women.
👝 After a fun lesson and Q&A, tweens learned about feminine hygiene and how to use various period products. They even made their own toiletry bags.
Metro Detroit moms and dads, stay tuned for more Bloom U x Turning Teen puberty workshops, plus other awesome health and wellness classes.

Puberty...made fun! ✨🌈 This weekend, Dr. Carrie Leff from @turningteen joined us at Bloom U for two girls-only workshops.
💁♀️ Tweens and their moms learned about skin care, body changes, emotions, and how to get ready for their first period.
👛 Every girl even got to design their own custom toiletry bag for their backpack.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this empowering event! Stay tuned, we plan to have Dr. Leff back for several more workshops! Plus, next weekend, she`s coming back for a Boys Body Basics class.
