Why do we vaccinate? Vaccines save lives.

At Bloom Pediatrics, we believe that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the CDC. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.

Caring for kids in Metro Detroit for over 40 years.

We love taking care of kids in Metro Detroit and we’re making ourselves more available. We are opening a second location in Southfield, where we will provide the same great care in a new part of town. You’ll see some of the same familiar faces and some new ones.

We love to meet new families!

Whether you are expecting a newborn, have recently moved to our area, or are looking for a new medical home for your children, we thank you for trusting us with your child’s health. We welcome new patients starting at birth to age 17 years.

Meet the doctors of Bloom Pediatrics.

Bloom Pediatrics has been serving our community for over 40 years.  All of our physicians are board certified and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

We accept most insurance plans.

Because each insurance policy is different, it is important to contact your insurance company if you have any questions regarding your benefits, and to know what your payment obligations will be at the time of service.

Take the “pain” out of pain reliever dosing.

Be confident that you are treating your child’s pain or fever with the correct dose of medication. We can guide you here on how much Motrin or Tylenol to give, based on your child’s weight. (Benadryl too!)

Online resources you can trust.

Our A to Z Resource Guide provides you with reliable online resources, recommended reading, and helpful tools to guide you in caring for your child.

Happy Autism Acceptance Month! 🌈

At Bloom Pediatrics, we proudly champion accessibility and inclusivity every day. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming space for all children.

In our Southfield office, we offer a calming sensory room, designed by @the_perception_foundation — a safe, soothing environment designed to meet the unique needs of our neurodivergent patients. Our front desk team is happy to share more information if you think this space could be helpful for your child.

Every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. ✨
